Our Story

Giving back to community; respect for the past; beautification; restoration. These are the passions of famed jewelry designer, Renee Lewis.

Lewis grew up in rural Ohio; Columbiana County specifically. A county steeped in history, though sadly, history that is not always advocated or appreciated. Luckily, Lewis appreciates the past and the beauty of what once was.

Feeding our patrons the freshest food possible is the goal of The Courthouse Inn & Restaurant, and we accomplish this via our wonderful relationships with local farmers. Owner Renee Lewis is hands-on where seeking out the best vegetarian staples in the area is concerned. Don’t be surprised to see Renee at area farm markets in the morning buying the produce to be used in the dishes being prepared for dinner and lunch that day. Local dairies supply the milk, butter, and cream used. Much of our lettuces come from a local hydroponic farmer. Look through the bios of the vendors we shop, and be impressed with the diversity and wholesome foods just a few miles from your doorstep. Here at The Courthouse Inn & Restaurant, it’s all about keeping it local, and offering plant-based, farm-to-table fare like no other.
